Welcome to the Island Hockey 101 website, the Island's BEST adult, co-ed, beginner and intermediate hockey league. Winter season registration opens May 15th of every year. We host 6 tiers of hockey, tiers 2 – 7, with tier 7 as a safe haven for the "brand new to ice hockey" player. We welcome players of all calibre, but specifically exist to provide hockey for the beginner. We promise the most customized experience you can have for hockey with things like our ALL STAR BREAK GAMES during Christmas and prizes for Tier Champions at the end of the season.

2012/2013 Registration Forms are online and ready to download and print:
We are looking at accepting between 66 - 70 teams this upcoming season. Registration fees are $8200/team and $590/player. Due to the huge demand for new teams, we will be allowing returning teams between May 15th and May 30th a chance to re-register. On May 30th, we will be accepting NEW TEAM registrations on a first come, first serve basis. In order for a team to be registered OR added to the league, we require the deposit of $900 for a team deposit to be submitted with the team registration. Please complete the team registration to the best of your ability when registering. You can complete or edit the information closer to the start of the season.
An email or registration without deposit is not considered a complete registration. Any deposit is only processed if there is space and we confirm your registration. Deposits are lost if you register and withdraw without sufficient notice prior to the start of the season.
NEW TEAMS - we do not know with certainty how many new teams we can accept until #1) we receive the deposits from the returning teams by May 30th and #2) we receive and sign all ice contracts with the arenas for the following year (usually done by the end of June/beginning of July). We ask for your patience as this can only be confirmed once all of the contracts are confirmed.
